Artist Biography:

Sebastian Lightfoot is know as a composer, producer , animator and director.
Sebastian is unique as an artist and his own style of composing and arranging songs is powerful.
He is inspired by music of the 80's en 90's like Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, Enya, Jean Michel Jarre, Nova, OMD, FWO, but also by movie score writers like Ennio Morricone, John Williams and Danny Elfman.
His music varies from melodic Pop to World music, sometimes classical and New Age. His music is timeless.
Starting at the age of 12 Sebastian wrote his first peace of music.and his first album released in 1994 called Fatamorgana 1.

In 1998 Sebastian's Fatamorgana 2 was used for a TV series called Regatta Time.
It was aired on SBS 6 and Veronica television in the Netherlands for a full year.
In 1999 this TV show was aired in Aruba also.

He studied music engineering and one of his best teachers in music production was Alan Parsons . Sebastian: '' I learned a lot from him, not only how to make music, but also the technical side of music and the most important bit the harmony in the music compositions".

Sebastian's music varies from melodic Pop to World music, sometimes classical, electronic and Ambient. His music is for all times. His music is used much for films, documentaries, TV and his animated music videos are famous.
Some of his hit songs are: And The Birds Are Singing, The Penguins From Texas, Raptor, Raptor 2, Goblin, Dark Night, Mambo Jambo, Paradise and Infinity.
In 2014 he made the documentary about NASA's Apollo Missions 17-20. It shows we are brought here by something or someone else! Featuring songs Sebastian Lightfoot Magic Fly and Supernova. Directed by Sebastian himself.

In 2017 he created his first youtube serie called '' Trappist One ''It's about the discovery of the 7 exoplanets by Nasa. Directed, written and soundtrack (A New World) by Sebastian.
Spotify has created an official editorial playlist "This Is'' Sebastian Lightfoot.
2019 he released his first Christmas album "Winter tales".

In 2020 - 2022 he released great singles like Willows, Paradise, Disclosure and Infinity.
All songs doing well on the big online streaming music platforms.
November 7th 2022 the release of his new album PURE.

Sebastian Lightfoot recently received an Akademia Music Award (USA) Best Artist Of The Year for the album PURE in the category Instrumental / Ambient music 2022.
He also received the message Effective August 10, 2023, his status in the Akademia Hall of Fame has become fact and his place in Akademia history permanently anointed.
